Basics of Clearing

Hi All,

We are now into the full swing of Clearing and receiving a steady amount of calls, emails and live chats throughout the day!

Clearing is great as it gives everyone the chance to still be able to attend University even though they may not have met the required grades for their original choices. It also offers you guys the opportunity to apply to different institutions (or different courses, if you so wish!) if you have gone above and beyond your predicted grades through a process called Adjustment! I won't divulge into that too much, as I am sure you will hear lots more about all the options available to you over the coming weeks, if not feel free to give us a call here at the Enquiry Unit on 0208 331 9000, and we will be happy to help!

Clearing can sometimes be a little bit difficult to understand, but the basics of eligibility for Clearing are as follows:

• You must have a UCAS application in place, and be able to provide your UCAS Personal ID
• You are holding no offers from any other institutions 
• AND, you must have the finalised results of all your qualifications! (Unfortunately we can not create an application for you guys if you have any pending results!)
