Clearing
is back! So this is my second year working in the Clearing department and I'm actually looking forward to it. Not the hours of course, or the days for that
matter but working in the Clearing office there is just a lovely happy atmosphere! Clearing
has officially started and so far we have already taken 48 Clearing
applications and plan to take many, many more!! We’ve got a steady intake of
calls and chats which is always good! J
Remember
when you are making an application with us that you have received your exam
results and are not holding any other offers with any other universities! Your
status has to be that you are ‘In Clearing’ for us to make an application for
you. If you are currently awaiting your A-Level results then unfortunately you
have to wait until you receive them to make an application with us! If you have
your results from other qualifications then feel free to give us a call and
we’ll see if we can put together an application for you! J
Clearing
is essentially if you do not meet the requirements for certain courses, for
example you could be 20 UCAS points under for the course you wanted so you can
apply for a similar course during Clearing! It is also for those who have recently decided to go to university or for those who have changed their mind about previous courses. There are still so many courses
which are available for Clearing so feel free to give us a call to check. Also
please remember that you need to have a UCAS account and Personal ID number for
us to check your application and also make a Clearing application for you!
Good
luck to everyone who has applied! J
